We share with you the report “Digital Banking in Latin America”, generated in partnership with GMIX program from Stanford University.
The research was conducted by Marcela Fernandez and Olayemi Oyebode, MBA candidates. During three months they have interviewed CIOs, directors and executives from banks all over Latin America.
This report brings you some information about trends, challenges and priorities regarding digital banking, with focus in offering a better experience for digital customers.
We highlight here some of the conclusions of the report:
– Only 15% of the respondents indicated that their bank was well prepared for digital clients
– 91% of banks still depend on their branches to complete some transactions
– 64% of banks invested in new technology to improve the efficiency of their operations
